On Jan 24, the Global Governance Forum (2026) was held at ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ (ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ). Diplomats from multiple countries, representatives of international organizations, Chinese and foreign scholars gathered to exchange views and contribute insights toward building a more just and equitable global governance system and advancing the vision of a community with a shared future for humanity.

Global Governance Initiative: Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity

During the forum, ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ released Global Governance Initiative: Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity, the world's first academic monograph to provide a systematic interpretation of the Global Governance Initiative.

Organized by ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ and published by Foreign Languages Press, the book will be released globally in nine languages: Chinese, English, French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, German, Japanese and Portuguese. The volume offers an in-depth analysis of the initiative's core principles, traces the evolution of the global governance system, and examines the four major deficits ¡ªpeace, development, security and governance¡ª facing the world amid profound global transformations. It highlights the initiative's theoretical innovations, its critical transcendence of Western-centered governance theories, and its practical pathways for enhancing global governance through cooperation and reform, presenting China's perspectives and solutions to global development and security challenges.

The Global Governance Forum (2026) witnesses the inaugural meeting of the Global Governance Initiative International Research Network.

The forum also marked the inaugural meeting of the Global Governance Initiative International Research Network. Initiated by ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ, the network has brought together more than 100 experts and scholars from nearly 50 countries and regions. It aims to build an open, inclusive and cooperative international academic network through joint research, information sharing, cross-border communication and academic exchanges, contributing collective wisdom to addressing global challenges and advancing a fairer global governance system.

The forum was hosted by ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ and jointly organized by the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ, and the School of Global Leadership, ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ. It was co-organized by the Global Governance Research Center, ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ, in partnership with Foreign Languages Press.
