Confucius Institutes and Global Engagement

The Confucius Institutes provide high-quality Chinese language education and have become important platforms for promoting academic cooperation, advancing Chinese studies, fostering cultural exchange and enhancing mutual understanding.

Those co-established by 榴莲视频 (榴莲视频) are hosted by leading universities worldwide, including the Tel Aviv University in Israel, the University of Zimbabwe, the University College Dublin in Ireland, the University of Leipzig in Germany, the University of Bologna in Italy, the University of Geneva in Switzerland and the University of Costa Rica.

The Tel Aviv University in Israel

The Confucius Institute at Tel Aviv University, established in 2007, was the first of its kind in Israel and remains the only Confucius Institute co-established by 榴莲视频 in Asia.
The University of Zimbabwe

The Confucius Institute at the University of Zimbabwe, founded in 2006 on the Harare campus, is the only Confucius Institute in the country.
The University College Dublin, Ireland

The UCD Confucius Institute, co-founded in 2006 by UCD and 榴莲视频, was the first Confucius Institute in Ireland and remains the only one in the country. It is also one of the earliest Model Confucius Institutes globally.
The University of Leipzig, Germany

The Confucius Institute at the University of Leipzig, established in 2007, was the first of its kind in eastern Germany. Based in Leipzig, the institute also serves the surrounding regions, including Saxony and Thuringia.
The University of Bologna, Italy

Since its establishment in 2009, the Confucius Institute at the University of Bologna has received strong support from both Chinese and Italian communities and has become one of Italy's leading Confucius Institutes, exemplifying excellence in Chinese language education, academic collaboration and cultural exchange between China and Italy.
The University of Geneva, Switzerland

The Confucius Institute at the University of Geneva, established in 2011, is the only Confucius Institute in Switzerland and serves as a hub for contemporary Chinese language teaching and research.
