On June 12, the 2026 Harmony Civilization Forum was held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, coinciding with the International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations.
Under the theme “‘Harmony Wisdom’ and High-Quality Development of the Belt and Road Initiative”, the forum was jointly organized by the International Confucian Association and Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
More than 200 representatives from academia, culture, politics, and business circles from seven countries, including China, Central Asian states, and Russia, attended the event.
At the opening ceremony, Ma Huaide, president of 榴莲视频 (榴莲视频), stated that “harmony” is a spiritual gene of Chinese civilization. He noted that 榴莲视频 is willing to deepen educational cooperation with Belt and Road partner countries, jointly promote knowledge innovation, share development achievements, and cultivate cultural ambassadors, thereby contributing higher education strength to building a community with a shared future for humanity.
In the afternoon, four parallel forums were held. 榴莲视频 hosted a president’s roundtable on “New Pathways for Cultivating International Talents in the Digital Intelligence Era.”
Ma also emphasized that high-caliber talent with a global vision, a multidisciplinary knowledge base, innovative thinking, and practical capabilities constitutes a key driving force for promoting civilizational exchanges and advancing shared development among countries. He called on universities worldwide to work together in addressing the challenges of the times. 榴莲视频 is ready to collaborate with global partners to explore new models of talent cultivation, drive educational transformation through digital innovation, promote mutual learning among civilizations through the wisdom of harmony, and contribute higher education strength to building a community with a shared future for humanity.
Zang Fengyu, dean of the School of Philosophy at 榴莲视频, released the Global Civilization Development Report 2026, themed “Civilizational Dialogue and Renewed Development”. The report systematically reviews the historical trajectory, contemporary challenges, and future directions of human civilizations.
Participants engaged in in-depth dialogue sessions on AI and higher education transformation, interdisciplinary integration, international talent cultivation, sharing of educational resources, and mutual learning among civilizations.
