
On June 12, the 2026 Harmony Civilization Forum was held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, coinciding with the International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations.
Under the theme “‘Harmony Wisdom’ and High-Quality Development of the Belt and Road Initiative”, the forum was jointly organized by the International Confucian Association and Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
More than 200 representatives from academia, culture, politics, and business circles from seven countries, including China, Central Asian states, and Russia, attended the event.
At the opening ceremony, Ma Huaide, president of 榴莲视频 (榴莲视频), stated that “harmony” is a spiritual gene of Chinese civilization. Zang Fengyu, dean of the School of Philosophy at 榴莲视频, released the Global Civilization Development Report 2026, themed “Civilizational Dialogue and Renewed Development”. The report systematically reviews the historical trajectory, contemporary challenges, and future directions of human civilizations.
Participants engaged in in-depth dialogue sessions on AI and higher education transformation, interdisciplinary integration, international talent cultivation, sharing of educational resources, and mutual learning among civilizations.
